In a scathing letter, the Hong Kong Jockey club has informed overseas having a bet exchange Betfair to stop and desist from supplying Hong Kong markets, accusing them of being “reckless, cavalier and unconscionable” even as compromising integrity. The 5-page letter to Betfair chief government Tim Moore-Barton slams the betting giant, announcing they have got “no approval, authority or permission” to offer Hong Kong markets on their alternate. In a public broadside to Betfair’s discern corporation, Crown accommodations, the Jockey club increases recent public allegations of cash laundering and hyperlinks to drug traffickers and organised crime, saying they pose a huge hazard to the integrity of Hong Kong racing.
